The NMVVRC Parkland Survey is a study being done by Abt Associates for the National Mass Violence Victimization Resource Center (NMVVRC) at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and Boston University School of Public Health. The study is paid for by the Office for Victims of Crime at the Department of Justice. This study wants to see how the Parkland shooting had an impact on the health of people in your community. This information will help us make recommendations about how to improve services following future disasters like this.
You can take part in this study by going to the website listed in your invitation, entering the study ID number and completing a short survey online. If you would like to complete a paper version of the survey, please call the survey team at Abt Associates toll-free at (855) 334-2675 or email the team at NMVVRC@abtassoc.com.
The survey will take about 35 minutes to complete.
The questions in the survey will ask about the Parkland shooting, how the Parkland shooting impacted your life, the services you may or may have not gotten, and your health.
No, taking part in this study is voluntary. You do not have to answer any survey questions that you do not want to and you have the right to leave this study at any time.
